Rodney Dean Burton Sr.

Rodney Dean Burton, age 57 and a resident of Conroe, Texas, passed away Sunday, September 15, 2013. He was born in Angleton, Texas on October 20, 1955. He was a truck driver by trade with “Red Bird” as his handle. Rodney graduated at New Caney High School in 1974. Rodney had such a kind heart and gentle soul; he never met a stranger. Rodney was a member of Triumph Church. Rodney loved to hunt and fish; family gatherings were always important to him; today, tomorrow and always Rodney will be in our hearts. Visitation will be held Monday, September 23, 2013, 5:00-9:00 p.m. at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home, Cleveland, Texas. Bro. Phil Meadows will preside over funeral services being held Tuesday, September 24, 2013, 10:15 a.m. at Houston National Cemetery, Houston, Texas.
