Sandra Denise Dawkins

Sandra Denise Hallman Dawkins, 60, of Dayton, died Tuesday, February 17, 2015, at the Courtyards of Pasadena.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, February 20, 2015, at the Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel with burial following at Magnolia Park Cemetery in Dayton. Services are under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton.

Sandra was born November 16, 1954 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, to parents; Vester Junior and Alice D. Wedgeworth Hallman, a former resident of Pasadena, and has resided in the Dayton area since 1975. She enjoyed soap operas, music, and animals.

Mrs. Dawkins was preceded in death by her parents, brother: John Vester Hallman, and sister: Nancy Carol Hallman Reames. She is survived by her husband: John D. Dawkins, Sr. of Dayton, sons: Vester Dawkins and wife Amber of Dayton and John D. Dawkins, Jr. of Dayton, sister: Judy Gambol and husband Barry, Sr. of Dayton, grandchildren: Samantha, Emily, Josephine, and Darren Dawkins, niece: Lori Hutchins, nephew: Barry "Bubba" Gambol, Jr., and numerous other relatives, and friends.
