Scott Cody Linton

Scott Cody Linton, age 26 and a resident of Cleveland, Texas, passed away Saturday, June 01, 2013. He was born in Houston, Texas on August 22, 1986. Mr. Linton was a loving father, enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, sitting by a camp fire and also was a big Texans Football fan; he will be missed by all who knew and loved him. He is preceded in death by his grandparents Charles Eugene Linton and Louise Linton, and uncle Charles Linton Jr. Survivors include his mother Glenda Gatling and Jamal Khalil; father Scott E. Linton and Amy; grandparents Margaret Gatling and Charles, Ronnie McKee and Betty; son Scott Cody Linton, Jr.; daughters Katrina Linton and Kiyla Linton; brother Cliff Lang; step-children Kylie and Gage Lucas; fiancée Angela Cherry; nephew Aidyn Lang; special uncle and aunt Phillip Jacobs and Donna Linton; cousins, Bryan Linton, Sabrina Linton, Samantha Linton, and Devin Jiles; numerous other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 05, 2013, 5:00-8:00 p.m. at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home, Cleveland, Texas.
