Shirley Jo Lambert Poe

Shirley Lambert Poe was born September 7, 1935 in Cleveland, Texas to parents, Steven Lambert and Gertrude Henry Lambert. She passed away July 4, 2024 in Houston, Texas at the age of 88. Shirley graduated from Cleveland High School in 1955, where she was Miss Cleveland High. She worked as a keypunch operator for Daniel Industries for 23 years. Above all, Shirley loved her family. She enjoyed all the holidays and memories spent with her daughters and grandchildren. Shirley will be greatly missed by everyone that knew and loved her. 

She was preceded in death by her parents and by her grandmother, Fanny Henry, who raised her after her mothers passing. Shirley is survived by her daughters, Cynthia Wolfram and husband Bob, Sharon Kluth and husband Leonard, and Becky Deason and husband Paul; grandsons, Glenn Gryder, Mark Gryder, and John McCord; granddaughter, Melanie McCord; great-grandson, Brody Lane Gryder. 

Visitation will be Sunday, July 7, 2024 from 2-3pm in the Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Service will begin at 3pm with Bro. Glen Mead officiating. Burial will follow in the Boothe Cemetery. Pallbearers for the service will be, Leonard Kluth, Paul Deason, Glenn Gryder, Mark Gryder, John McCord, and Melanie McCord.
