Stacey Ann Waits, 54, of Cleveland, Texas, passed away peacefully on June 16, 2026. She was born on March 18, 1972, in Houston, Texas, to Cary and Wanda Vowels.
Stacey was a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished daughter, sister, aunt, and treasured friend. She had a heart full of love and kindness, and nothing brought her greater happiness than spending time with the people she loved most. Her family was the center of her world, and she treasured every moment shared with them.
She found joy in life's simple pleasures. Stacey loved traveling and making memories along the way, admired the beauty of roses, and had a special place in her heart for dogs. Whether enjoying a quiet day at home or gathering with family and friends, she had a way of making those around her feel welcomed, loved, and appreciated. Her gentle spirit, caring heart, and unwavering love will forever be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Stacey leaves behind a legacy of love that will continue to live on in the hearts of those she touched.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Greg Waits; her loving parents, Cary and Wanda Vowels; her son, John Dunn; her sisters, Melissa Richards and Pamala Dildy; her nephews, Kyle Young, Austin Young, Jackson Young, Levi Dildy, and Luke Dildy; her great-nephew, Liam Young; along with many other relatives and dear friends who will cherish her memory forever.
A Graveside Service celebrating Stacey's life will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 2, 2026, at Pace-Stancil Memorial Rest Garden in Cleveland, Texas.
Though her presence will be deeply missed, the love, compassion, and beautiful memories Stacey shared with her family and friends will remain in their hearts forever. Her legacy of love will continue to shine through all those whose lives she touched.
