Stephen Kermit Shryock

Stephen Kermit Shryock, beloved husband and father, went to be with the Lord on September 14, 2025 at the age of 73.

Stephen was born in Waterloo, Iowa on March 28, 1952. During his life Stephen, a master mechanic, enjoyed using his knowledge and skill to help others and never turned away someone in need. Stephen was an avid fisherman, gun hobbyist, train collector and master tinkerer. A good man with a gentle soul whose biggest joy of all was spending time with his family. Stephen was very loved and will be missed by all who met him.

Stephen is preceded in death by his parents, John and Betty Shryock; beloved wife, Glenna Shryock; brothers, John Shryock and James Shryock. He is survived by his daughters, Amber Shryock Birch and husband Nathan, Deedra Allen and husband Bobby; brother, Patrick Shryock and wife Cathy; brother, Rick Deniz and wife Laura; sister, Nancy Coulter; grandchildren, Colton Allen and wife Cynthia, Caleb Allen and Bailey Birch; great-grandson, Gabriel H. Allen; along with several other family members and friends.

A celebration of Stephen’s life will be held on Saturday, September 27, 2025 at 3pm in the Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel in Cleveland, Texas with Bro. Carl Williamson officiating.
