Born on April 1, 1965, in Belle Glade, Florida, to Charles and Martha Weekley, Steve exemplified a life filled with love, compassion, and unwavering faith.
Steve shared over four decades of marriage with the love of his life, Candi Weekley. His legacy is marked by his selfless nature, always ready to extend a helping hand to those in need. A man of great generosity and care, he ensured the well-being of his family and cherished every moment spent together. Steve had a passion for travel, fishing, and dove hunting, but his greatest joy was undoubtedly the time he spent with his family.
As a Granddad to Magnolia and Ivy, Steve found immense joy in the role of a loving grandfather. His family was the center of his world, and his love for them knew no bounds. Steve's faith was a guiding light in his life, he was actively involved in church activities and left an indelible mark on all that knew him. Throughout the past year, his unyielding faith sustained him through his journey.
Steve is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Martha Weekley, his brother Jeff Weekley, and his father-in-law Floyd Barlow. He is survived by his devoted and loving wife Candi Weekley, cherished daughters Lauren Weekley and Meghan Keeton, and son-in-law Andy Keeton. The light of his life was his loving granddaughters, Magnolia and Ivy Keeton.
He leaves behind brothers Allen Weekley and wife Rena and Randy Weekley and wife Debbie. Steve is also survived by his mother-in-law Jackie Barlow, sisters-in-law Barbara Weekley, Jeri Barlow, and LaDonna Welch with her husband Sherman, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and a wide circle of friends who were touched by his warmth and kindness.
Steve's friendship was coveted by all who knew him, and his unshakable faith was a testament to the extraordinary man he was. As we mourn his passing, we take solace in the knowledge that he is now free from pain, whole again, and at peace in the loving embrace of the Lord. May his memory live on in our hearts, and may we find comfort in the cherished moments shared with him.
