Steven Wayne Brockett

Steven Wayne Brockett, age 38 and a resident of Cleveland, Texas, passed away Wednesday, September 11, 2013. He was born in Houston, Texas on December 25, 1974. He was a 1994 graduate of Splendora High School; enjoyed the outdoors and loved landscaping his mom’s yard. He had a heart full of love and was deeply devoted to his family; he will be greatly missed. He is preceded in death by his sister Kristy Brockett; his brother Keith Brockett; grandparents Leroy (PawPaw) and Ida (MamMaw) Hall, Ben (PawPaw) and Billie (Granny) Brockett. Survivors include his parents Sheryl and James Youngblood; daughter Marissa Danielle Brockett; aunts and uncles Nancy Turney and Tommy, Roy Hall and JoAnne, Trina Hall, Tommy Youngblood and Jane, Wayne Youngblood, Doris Dickson, Delton Youngblood and Sue; numerous cousins and other cherished family members. Visitation will be held Monday, September 16, 2013, 11:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. and Tuesday, September 17, 2013, 10:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home, Cleveland, Texas. Bro. Carl Williamson will preside over funeral services being held Wednesday, September 18, 2013, 1:00 p.m. at Calvary Baptist Church, Cleveland, Texas. Graveside services will follow at 2:45 p.m., Brookside Cemetery, Houston, Texas.
