He spent 27 years in Dayton, Texas, where he built a loving home with his cherished wife of 35 years, Tawnee Renee Jowell, who preceded him in death. He also had a special place in his heart for his pet squirrels, his dogs and grand-dogs, who were constant companions.
Stuart is survived by his loving children: Logan Jowell, Cody Jowell and wife Samantha, Tawnee Jowell and fiancé Dillon Berry, Mercedes Jowell, James Daniel and wife Stephanie, and Misty Daniel. He is also survived by his brother Doug Jowell and wife BeBe, his sister Alicia Jowell-Shope and husband Danny, and a legacy of grandchildren who adored him: Morgan Jowell, Myka Jowell, Mikayla Jowell, James Daniel Jr., Gavin Daniel, Dylan Daniel, James Hughes, Atlas Daniel, and Bo Daniel.
Pallbearers will be Logan Jowell, Cody Jowell, James Daniel, Doug Jowell, Dillon Berry, and Sammy Shope.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, August 31, 2025, at 2:30 p.m. at Grace Community Baptist Church in Dayton, Texas. A celebration of Stuart’s life will follow at 3:00 p.m., officiated by Stuart’s Pastor and dear friend, Marvin Denison.
