Syble Odessa Campbell Roberts, 84, of Cleveland passed away Sunday, June 1, 2014 in Kingwood. A lifelong resident of Cleveland, she was born May 1, 1930 in Cleveland to parents, Charles V. and Lillie Maywall Campbell. Services for Mrs. Roberts will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, June 5, 2014 at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel, Cleveland. Interment will follow at Romayor Cemetery in Romayor. Visitation is 5:00 to 9:00 p.m., Wednesday, evening at the funeral home. Mrs. Roberts was preceded in death by her husband, H. D. Roberts; sisters, Hettie Allen and Velma “Dutch” Franklin; brothers, Davis “Bud” Campbell, Vernon Campbell, Charles Campbell, Jr., Joe Campbell, and Clarence Campbell. She is survived by her sons: Elmer Charles Roberts and wife Brenda, Jesse Ray Roberts and wife Pam, and Weldon Earl Roberts and wife Drewe; grandchildren: Dewey Roberts and wife Rebecca, Clinton Roberts and wife Jennifer, Chris Roberts and wife Christine, Curtis Roberts, Mr. & Mrs. Josh Roberts, and Madison Roberts; fourteen great-grandchildren; brother: Earl Campbell; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
