Teresa Lynn Volker

Teresa Lynn Volker, 58, passed away peacefully on May 12, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Born on November 10, 1966, in Houston, Texas, Teresa was the cherished daughter of Jerry and Betty Foster.

A devoted wife, mother, sister, "Momo," and friend, Teresa’s life was rooted in love for her family. Her children and grandchildren were truly her world, and she found joy in every moment spent with them. Teresa had a warm and vibrant personality, known for her generous spirit, quick wit, and the comfort of her famously perfect mashed potatoes.

In her leisure time, Teresa loved watching her favorite shows—Roseanne and Reba—flipping through magazines, and enjoying shopping trips. Her presence brightened any room, and her love was felt deeply by all who knew her.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 20 years, Doug Mize; her loving mother, Betty Carroll-Cato and husband Charles; her treasured children, John Volker and wife Jaime, Jake Volker, Jennifer Hendrix and husband Joe, Tonya Delcourt and husband Sean, Melanie Volker, Bennie Wolf and wife Karissa, Brian Wolfe and wife Fawna, Butch Mize and wife Lisa, and Hunter Mize and wife Jackie; her brother, Jerry Foster Jr. and wife Kelly; and her sister, Tamara Baker and husband Roy. Teresa was the proud "Momo" to her grandchildren: Jonathan, Trystan, Brandon, Kevin, Emma, Jesse, Tiffany, KayDee, Magnolia, Malakai, Trae, Cali, Faith, Luke, Kal-el, Kayden, BJ, Madilyn, and Cameron. She also leaves behind many other family members and a host of dear friends.

Teresa was preceded in death by her father, Jerry Foster.

Visitation will be held Friday, May 16, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Pace Stancil Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at 12:30 p.m. at Pace Stancil Memorial Rest Gardens.

Teresa will be deeply missed and forever remembered for the love she gave and the lives she touched.
