Troy Wayne
Reed
September 20, 1963 – March 20, 2026
Troy Wayne Reed was born September 20, 1963 in Cleveland, Texas to parents, Freddie Lee Reed and Mary Elizabeth Younger Reed. He passed away March 20, 2026 in Cleveland, Texas at the age of 62. It’s funny when we were in High School
I thought Troy was a big jerk. Then a few years later he was hanging out with my brother we started talking. He asked me out and then well he stood me up. I saw him at the laundry mat, and told him to get in my car and then we went to his house and he had no heating in the house,I told him to get his clothes and then he moved in with me.he then met Tiffany and Aaron at 6 months old, and took care of them as his own and loved them as his own, and then we had Tania at 21,and she then had a baby boy named Burl a angel baby named Nathan..Troy was a hard working man and he loved me more than I can put into words, our favorite thing to do was go to the lake and bbq.he coached Tiffany at her softball games and loved to watch her play, she got married to Jayce in our house they then had 3 beautiful grandchildren,Kaylee Jaydin, and Emery. We moved into Tory’s mothers house and payed for it as our own. we had a brown barn, and Troy and his buddies hung out in it 24/7.and as we grew we became a loving family, and had a lot of crazy adventures. We took Tania and Tiffany deep sea fishing they loved it .he loved to take Aaron to the lake. We went through a bunch of trials with Aaron and Tania being sick,Troy was up there with me when he wasn’t working, and Tiffany stayed with her Grandma whom she loved very much. Troy loved his family more than anything.as he grew in different jobs he got with the railroad, with Jorden they became very good friends. Troy would be gone to different states and when he came home we did things as a family. Aaron knew when his bag was gone he wasn’t going to be home for awhile.and when he got sick 3 years before he passed away we went through a lot of hospital stays.i loved that man he was my world,my everything my best friend. When the lord took him home we were together for 43 years,i will miss you until i see you again thank you for being my best friend.my grandkids and children, and friends held me together and we’re gonna get through this together.i love you Troy .
Troy loved life and he loved his family with all his heart. He would do whatever he need to provide for them, working with heavy equipment in the construction industry, air conditioning and heating, or working on the railroad. Troy was a beloved son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, and friend to many. Troy was preceded in death by his brother, Anthony Lee Reed; sister, Vickie Lynn Anaston; grandson, Nathan Bunting. He is survived by his beloved wife of 43 years, Regina Reed; father, Freddie Lee Reed and wife Kathryn Carol Sallas Reed; mother, Mary Elizabeth Osborn and husband Jerry Osborn; children, Tiffany Renee Kelso and husband Jayce Kelso, Leroy Aaron Lofgren, and Tania Michelle Reed; brothers, Ricky Mize and wife Tammy Mize, and Eddy Mize; sister, Angeia Baxley and husband Ray Baxley; brother in laws, Randy Douglas Beams and wife Khuong Thi Bach, and Rodnet Dewayne Beams and wife Sarah Beams; grandchildren, Kaylee Kelso, Jaydin Kelso, Emery Kelso, and Burl "Rocket" Bunting.
