Services for Wayne Allan Ericson, 86, of Flint will be held on Friday, June 26, 2026 at 10:30 am at Crosby Brethren Church with Brother Larry Koslovsky officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery Crosby Texas under the direction of Pace and Stancil Funeral Home, after transferring from Stewart Family Funeral Home in Tyler, TX.
Wayne peacefully went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, June 20, 2026 surrounded by the love of his family. He was born February 9, 1940, in Baytown Texas to G.W. Ericson and Annie Lindstrom Ericson. He was a dedicated husband to Lorene for 64 years and a devoted father to his two daughters.
To all who knew him, Wayne was a true reflection of Christ's love. He was a member of Faith Community Church in Tyler and a former member of Crosby Brethren Church where he served as treasurer. He was also a member of the Crosby Heritage Foundation. He graduated from Crosby High School and received his Bachelors in Finance from University of Houston. After graduation he began his career selling insurance door to door and ended his career at PMI Insurance company underwriting insurance policies for energy and marine industries. After retirement, Wayne enjoyed traveling and spending time with family.
Wayne is survived by his beloved wife, Lorene Ericson; his children, Paula Ericson,Rena Towler and son in law Jesse Towler; his four cherished granddaughters; Haley Burkham & her husband Dakota, Chloe Towler, Gabriana Green & her husband Garrett, Holland Quarles & her husband Brandon. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Pallbearers will be Stephen Prasek, Philip Evans, Dakota Burkham, Brandon Quarles, Garrett Green, and Riley Webb.
