Wilma Nelson Marriott

Wilma Nelson Marriott, age 84 of Onalaska, Texas, passed away Wednesday, November 28, 2018. She was born September 1, 1934 in Singer, Louisiana to parents Rev. Kermit Nelson and Gloria Mae Nelson who preceded her in death along with her sister, Louise Hall; son, Douglas Lewis; and grandchildren, Misty and Douglas Lewis, Jr.

Survivors include her husband, Weldon Marriott; daughter, Karen Gatlin and husband Christopher Gatlin; step-daughter, Cheryl Werth; step-son, Stephen Marriott; sisters, Johnny Hickman and Tanga Warner; brother, Herbert Nelson; grandchildren, Lora Curl, Angela Methvin, Jennifer Thillet, Dusty Gatlin, Brooke Smith, Camille Lewis, Crystal Theodoridis, April Marriott, Greg Garcia, Travis Ries and Kimberly Engelke; nineteen great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m., Sunday, December 2, 2018 at Pace Stancil Chapel, Cleveland, Texas. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, December 2, 2018 at Pace Stancil Chapel, Cleveland, Texas. Interment will follow at Farley Chapel Cemetery, Shepherd, Texas.
